The United Methodist Women

“The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”



We have three circles:

Deborah meets the second Thursday of the month in Rm. #104 at 7p.m.
Anna Rebecca meets the third Thursday of the month in the Conference Room at 9:30 a.m.
Ruth meets the third Thursday of the month in the Conference Room at 7:00 p.m.

Covina UMW Yearly Activities include:
Chocolate Eggs for Easter time, (making & selling), Spring Rummage Sale, Holiday Boutique, School of Christian Mission,
Retreat, Bible Study/Mission Study, Day at the Beach,
UMW Installation, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Prepare meals for some of the church functions including funerals,
District & Conference Events

What can you do to become a part of this dynamic group? Just talk to any of the ushers, and they will direct you to a UMW member. Become committed to participating in God’s mission, spreading the message of Jesus, and being an advocate for women, children, and youth throughout the world.
